What products can I sell through Walmart Fulfillment Services?

WFS accepts most non-hazardous consumer goods that meet approval requirements and preparation standards, including proper labeling and packaging. Dangerous materials, alcohol, ammunition, and temperature-controlled items aren’t eligible. Some categories require pre-approval, such as groceries and medications, even if they aren’t outright prohibited.

What are Walmart Fulfillment Services’ fees?

WFS fees are structured around a pay-as-you-go model. There are no setup costs or monthly subscriptions. The primary cost is a per-unit fulfillment fee that covers storage, packing, shipping, customer service, and returns processing. It varies based on the item’s weight and dimensions. Also, Walmart charges storage fees monthly per cubic foot, which increase during the peak October-December period to reflect higher warehouse demand.

Which regions does Walmart Fulfillment Services cover?

WFS covers the entire US market. Fulfillment centers are spread across the contiguous 48 states, with 1-2 day delivery available nationwide. Delivery also reaches all 50 states, Puerto Rico, Guam, the US Virgin Islands, and select military addresses. For sellers importing from overseas, inventory must clear US customs before it can be shipped inbound to a WFS facility.

Walmart Exports program, expected in 2026, will allow sellers to use their existing WFS inventory to fulfill orders from Canada and Mexico.
